Children and Young People

children

Children are fully involved in the life of our church, from helping to welcome people to bringing up our offering and asking and answering questions during our service.

To support them in their faith, we have a Junior Church group which meets every Sunday except the 1st sunday of the month during term time. It runs in the Ark Hall during our main 10am Sunday service. If you would like your child to join us, please let the welcome team know when you arrive.

Our children receive bread and wine once they have been admitted to Holy Communion usually from 7 years of age. If you would like to find out more please contact Mtr Sarah.

Young people

Our young people are very involved in our church life. They help to set up for our services and read, serve and lead our intercessions. They also play music during Communion.

Our young people also join with young people from St Luke’s Peckham for Youth Group. It meets on the 1st Sunday of the month 3.30-5.30pm in term time in the Ark Hall. We play games, have fun and often cook or bake.
